CHURCH TRANSLATIONS: God, I'm unworthy
How can I approach the mercy seat standing on my two feet after i've acknowledged your powerful and mighty hand in my life and lived to tell the tale of how broken I was when I lived my life for myself.
I broke what you created,
I crushed what you made whole and like the wonderful creator you are, you rebuild me graciously, and say "this time let Me help you to walk".
Every step I take, you've taken to ensure it was safe for me. You pre chewed my food and say "this is how its supposed to look before you swallow" because before I would swallow with bones and fur, uncooked and it would scar my insides.
Knowing this, how can I not fall to my knees and worship a God who has allowed me to throw my tantrum and wear my underwear over my clothes. When I got laughed at, He undressed me, redressed me, did my hair and said "now go to school and show them what you look like now; Shoe them how prestigious it is to be you Father's child."
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
"For God so loved the world..."
This is such a powerful sentiment.
He so loved the world that he fashioned every continent.
Fine tuned the placement of every planet so that
They could create environment
Conducive to our temperment.
For God so loved the world...
He created a new dimension
Free of cruelty and dissension;
We had the whole world as our possession
And we ruined it.
For God so loved the world He sent His Son
Who bled and died for everyone
And though he was the only one of us without sin
He bore the cross and unsealed the grave we sealed Him in
Then said, "my children, I'll come again,
And restore to you your birthright".
And yet so many still don't see.
The world is proof of His glory.
"He is not here, he can not be;
For God so loved the world is just a story"
